TC Conference Guest Speaker - John Klish (Klishy)
We are excited to welcome John Klish (Klishy) as a guest speaker at the Testicular Cancer Conference 2018.
John Klish was born with bi-lateral profound hearing loss, meaning profoundly deaf. That didn’t stop him from following his dreams. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in mechanical engineering while racing on the collegiate cycling team.
In 2005 John was diagnosed with testicular cancer putting things on hold. He went into remission April 2006 and picked up where he left off. John went on to compete in the 2013 Deaflympics in Bulgaria representing USA. He was the only athlete to compete in all five cycling events which included the 1000-meter spring, the time trail, a road race, mountain biking, and a point race. He placed fifth in the road race, fourth in the time trial (missing third by seven seconds), bronze in the 1,000-meter sprint and mountain biking, he won Gold Meadalist Cyclist in the point race.
John is also the business owner of Mountain And Desert (MAD) Racing Colorado hosting over 12 events a year and providing various event support for other events, such as timing services, event management, event planning, and event supplies.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet John Klish and all other guest speakers at our annual Testicular Cancer Conference in Denver, CO on November 30, December 1 & 2, 2018.
