Cancer Medication Management

Medication is a critical aspect of cancer treatment and recovery. Medications given by your care team work best when given at the proper doses and times. This guide will help patients and caregivers successfully manage the storage, dosage, and other circumstances related to cancer medication.

Spanish Testicular Cancer Resources

Help make a difference in the fight against testicular cancer by ordering educational materials, awareness products and setting up a fundraiser via Facebook. Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation has many resources in both English and Spanish.

Monthly Self-Exams

Self-examination of the testes on a monthly basis is important for early detection of testicular cancer. Since TC is usually isolated to a single testicle, comparison of your testicle with the other can be helpful.

Sperm Banking

If you are about to start treatment for testicular cancer, we encourage you to look into sperm banking  before undergoing radiation  or chemotherapy, as both these treatments have a high likelihood of destroying your fertility. The best way to maximize your chances of conceiving genetic children in the future is to bank sperm prior to treatment.

TC Survivorship Guide

Our team of medical experts have created a comprehensive guide for testicular cancer patients and survivors. Our Testicular Cancer Survivorship Guide includes valuable information to assist from the time of diagnoses including long-term survivorship plans.

TC Conferences

We focus on bringing an international group of TC survivors and their loved ones together to address the physical and emotional toll of being diagnosed and treated for a cancer at a young age. We discuss life with and after cancer, and lifestyle changes that can help the healing process. We invite a panel of medical experts to provide pertinent information for patients currently fighting and resources for long-term survivorship. TCAF provides attendees with information and resources to advocate within their community about the importance of early detection.

tc experts

We offer a comprehensive list of known experts in the treatment of testicular cancer.  It is well-advised to have your physician consult with an expert to ensure you receive the best treatments.

Testicular Implant

Having lost one or both of your testicles isn’t an easy topic to discuss, but it can be a reality for many. Regardless of age, this loss can have an impact on your self-esteem, relationships and even the lifestyle you desire to have.

Consider the Torosa® Saline-Filled Testicular Prosthesis, the only FDA-approved testicular prosthesis on the market.

Hearing Loss Prevention

Cisplatin is a widely used, highly effective anticancer drug. However, one of the side effects is ototoxicity or hearing loss which can have a profound impact on quality of life. TCAF has partnered with Fennec Pharmaceuticals - a biotechnology company dedicated to work in the Neuro-ototoxicity space for patients with solid tumors who are treated with cisplatin to reduce the risk of hearing loss.

Toolkit for Finances After Cancer

Triage Cancer has created a toolkit that is designed to help cancer survivors, patients, and caregivers understand the impact cancer treatment can have on your financial situation. This tool is meant to help empower and guide you to the information you need.

The Lost Ball Backpack Program based out of Northeast Ohio is designed to provide support for TC patients. They send survivors a care package to help them manage their treatment care path. The package includes items like lotions, anti-nausea remedies, hydration aids, notebooks and items to help pass the time during treatment.
