In general, 70% of men diagnosed with Stage I Non-seminoma and 80% of men diagnosed with Stage I Seminoma are cured by the orchiectomy alone.

If you choose surveillance and you stick to the surveillance protocol, then regardless of whether you have Stage I Seminoma or Non-seminoma, your odds of recurrence are the same as someone who chose to have radiation or an RPLND.
